One evening, I found myself craving something warm and delicious to enjoy with a glass of wine. My thoughts turned to a Jamaican patty—a comforting favorite from my childhood. However, I wasn’t in the mood for a greasy snack; I wanted a healthy, light yet satisfying meal that was also convenient to reheat. After searching in vain, I decided to create my own.

The Beginning

Growing up, I never paid much attention to reading labels or questioning ingredients. As I matured, I became increasingly conscious of what I was putting into my body. I recognized a need for patties made with real, wholesome ingredients that didn’t compromise on flavor.

Happy Food

Patties are joyful comfort food, full of nostalgia from treasured childhood memories. With Stush Patties, I aim to revive those cherished moments by offering a product made from real foods that align with our focus on health and wellness.

Overcoming Challenges

I started small, hand-making patties to share with friends and family. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive—people loved them! However, scaling up required finding the right partners who shared my commitment to quality. Today, our patties are produced in a federally approved facility, enabling us to expand from local stores in Ontario to major retailers across Canada.

A Vision for the Future

At Stush Foods, we’re not just selling patties; we’re creating a movement. My goal is for our patties to be embraced as a go-to snack or meal, regardless of whether or not you know or love Jamaican cuisine—just like pizza. I want people to understand that great taste doesn’t have to come at the expense of quality or health.

Making an Impact

We’ve already made significant strides, from being featured in Whole Foods to donating patties to shelters and supporting charitable organizations. But this is just the beginning. With every patty we sell, we’re not only bringing joy to our customers but also creating new memories for the next generation.
